Our speciality production unit offers hand-made stringed instruments
according to your individual requirements. The wood from which
the concert guitars, jazz guitars, mandols, mandolins, and historical
lutes are made is guaranteed to be at least 30 years old. |

|
Special wishes regarding the sound or the shape of the instruments
are taken into accout, and each instrument is built completely
by hand. Repairs and restorations of any level of difficulty
are performed in order to preserve or restore the sound and value
of the instrument. |

Instrument building
The production of plucked instruments of various categories
requires not only a high level of expertise and a love for details,
but also special knowledge of working with and storing a wide
range of indigenous and exotic types of wood. Georg Gose acquired
this knowledge during his apprenticeship at an early age at the
renowned music store Klein in Koblenz.
Traditional artisanship and the knowledge of how to use the
most modern materials makes each instrument a unique masterpiece
with an individual sound and design; the customers wishes
are always taken into account. An intensive personal dialogue
with the customer lays the foundation for building each instrument.
The emblem and brand of the Georg Gose Meisterwerkstätte
uniquely identifies these special instruments, and symbolizes
a family tradition which is continued in the next generation
by Robert Gose, the son and apprentice of the luthier. |
